Council
The Arab Leadership Intelligence Council (ALIC)
A standing, invitation-only council of chief executives, principals, chairmen and family office leaders across the Arab region, convened by Bell Curve Consultancy.
It is not a conference. There is no public audience, no ticketing and no open registration.
Why it exists
The region has no shortage of capable leaders. It has no mechanism for anticipating what the next phase will require of them.
Capital and ambition are moving into sectors the market has not led before, faster than leadership capability is being built around them. Nobody is examining that gap while it is still forming. Executive search begins when a seat is empty. The Council begins before that.
That is what leadership intelligence means here: how a sector is changing, and what it will demand of the people leading it, before the demand becomes a constraint.
How it works
The Council runs in chapters. Each chapter convenes in one market, around one question, with the research prepared in advance.
The same leaders return, and each chapter builds on the conclusions of the one before it. What the Council holds is a record rather than a series of occasions. That accumulation is the point.
Jordan was the first chapter, in August 2026. Riyadh follows in November.
The rules that hold across every chapter
- Invitation only. Members are selected. Attendance is complimentary and cannot be bought.
- Nothing is sold from the stage. No presentations of services, no pitch, no commercial approach in the room.
- Conclusions are published. Participants are not. Attribution is by agreement, never by default.
What it produces
Each chapter produces conclusions, not a summary of a conversation.
The first edition establishes a baseline. The second allows comparison. Over time the record becomes the reference point for how the region talks about leadership capability, succession, governance and what its new sectors will require.
Who convenes it
Bell Curve Consultancy convenes the Council, sets the research agenda and decides who sits in the room.
Besan Dahboor Engel leads the convening. Bilal Khouli leads the Council in Saudi Arabia.
